It was rainy in Chicago today so I decided to break out the crock-pot mid-summer. Making our own sunshine today people!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of short tubular pasta (I used De Cecco Fusilli)
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 onion
- 3 carrots
- 8 cups of the pasta sauce of your choice (or 2 jars)
- Lake Shore Drive Seasoning
- Tuscan Bread-Dip Seasoning
- Garlic Salt
Directions:
- Season 2 chicken breasts with Lake Shore Drive Seasoning, and Tuscan Bread-Dip Seasoning. Place in the bottom of the crock-pot
- Peel and chop carrots, roughly chop the onion and add both to crock-pot
- Add 8 cups of pasta sauce and stir, seasoning lightly with garlic salt
- Cook on low for 6 hours
- Just before serving cook pasta al dente and serve with chicken and sauce over pasta
